After several years doing watch photography everybody in my family are already acustomed to my excentricity with this matter but of course it is not the same when an stranger sees me shooting in the street. Lol!
Just share with your wife some posts of our members here and she will quickly understand you are not alone in this little charming madness! Lol!

With my 6.5" wrist, I can totally pull off the right 34mm watch. Vintage Tudor Small Rose, vintage Omega Sea Master, a vintage Zodiac Kingline. Sure, 36mm to 39mm is probably my sweet spot, and we can all wear a 42mm Omega Speedmaster Professional perfect...

Fortis B42 42mm x 15mm and 216 grams, almost half a pound. The heaviest and thickest I own, although not largest diameter. It's probably more of a tank than a whale and I treat it like one. It takes a lot of abuse as you can see by the wear. ...
