The CDV is quite the “strap monster”! I particularly like the way that Vacheron take a notch out of the leather on one side of the spring bar end which makes it easier to get the spring bar tool into place. As well as the original Serapian strap that came with the watch I have a grey, green and navy strap - as well as the black strap from my Traditionelle Small Seconds.

I picked the case material and dial color back in February 2021, and our watch club took delivery of the 10 pieces in December 2021.
It exceeded our expectations. I pushed for including Flyback functionality but…

Patrik has informed me the Ice Blue is one of the hardest to achieve due to the large surface area of the dial and very short window of time to keep the metal heated before the color changes again.
