I still remember one trip to NSW..
I was passing Healesville, and just some clicks (say miles) outside the sanctuary did I see some small forest and a bunch of vombats around there. (However also a lot of Koalas and some Forest Kingfishers...What a peaceful moment...

hi Aboen, if your referring to my pic, here's how.
it was actually very simple. i put the watch onto a piece of thin ice at the edge of a lake so you can see the water underneath it. i then used photoshop to change it to B&W, changed some of the highlights a bit and that was it. its one of my best pics i ...

No wombats and no fish either !
Plenty of rabbits, hares, birds, kangaroos and a lone fox that morning, but I rarely see wombats in the wild these days. No fish either, but it was a beautiful morning to sit by the river and contemplate life. A

We had lots of them ...
... around my Uncle's dairy farm when I was a kid, although they used to damage the fences and were not particularly welcome - a wombat does not alter its path for anything, just pushes on through. They are nice creatures, though, and you were very lucky ...
