I recommend to see both the Aeronavale and the transatlantique...
At your Breguet AD first. I was actually looking for a Aeronavale as well since I don't really need the date and it is closer to the original Type XX. What I realized only when seeing both watches side by side is that the dial is very different beside the date. The Aeronavale features a Matt dial and printed white indexes while the Transatlantique has a shiny black dial and applied steel indexes. Of course, the hands are different too. Maybe you are already aware of this but I wasn't at the time.
I liked the dial of the Transatlantique better so that's the reason I went for it.

For watches and for chocolate. I always wonder how the Belgians can make outstanding Chocolate, considering that the Cocoa nuts are made elsewhere (on the North of the country here, as an example). We have Belgian chocolate shops, on upscale shopping mall...

I just googled a bit ... in 1907 there were 3387 breweries in Belgium (7,000,000 inhabitants) .. in 2001 we had a 100 .. in 2009 there were 150 ... of which over 120 in Flanders ... so in a radius of 25 miles from where i live there are at least 20 brewer...
We can drive ourselves ...
.. on the way to the abbaye ... but i fear we will need a cab on the way home :-) ... .. or we could end up in trouble ... :-) Bim ...
