but they went along with everything else 2 years ago. for some reason the 1806 doesnt feel as big as it really is, perhaps its because the case is round(ish). mine was a standard civilian issue but i did have 2 quartz military navitimers, 1 Iraqi and 1 Algerian. both identical models, pretty basis ESA movements with 1 second chrono, date and dual time. i only have a pic of the Algerian and that isnt very good, but i'll show it nonetheless.

these were ordered by the middle eastern countries because they had previously used Breitlings and wanted the slide rule bezel, but built to a budget so Breitling ordered these ESA movements. there is one other model which is slightly different. they are not a good advert for Breitling IMO especially after the 1806 'first auto chrono'. some military collectors really treasure them, but i wasnt overly impressed and neither of them stayed in my collection very long. i just wish i'd managed to find an Iraqi 1806 in good enough condition, but i never did and the urge has now left me. i had the chance of a 1964 Cosmonaute recently, but its the wrong time to splash out the cash required. big shame as it would have been a nice addition to the 64 theme.
enjoy it Claude, it looks good and they are superb watches.
