I already have had it for some time, but it required a long time at the Rolex spa. One of the reasons it took long was that the tritium from the orange hand was damaged, so miraculously I managed to find a straighthand orangehand WITH patina... You and Ni... 

I'm doing a review of this beauty (I haven't set the date properly yet, as it just came today on loan from GP.). She's a looker, right? HAGWE! Daos...

Hi Daos, you are testing a watch that fits into my "prey scheme" too: very classic case and dial design, no nonsense, day-/date window, moon phase indication - yummy, yummy! The most probable obstacle to be chased and "bitten" by me? The price tag ! BTW, ... 

...but I was flexing my wrist to avoid the glare from overhead lights when taking the picture. That's why it seems the crown is biting into me. Cheers, Daos

On the 1966 I could see how the date window might take away from the classic elegance of the watch. On the other hand, lots of folks love a date window on their dress watches. It's hard to get consensus on these things. Hope all is well! Daos

i eventually got around to sending my 105.012-64 speedy pro off for service as the 12 hour totaliser wasnt working when i bought it 3 months ago. it was simply gummed up and a standard service at the cost of only £100 made it work perfectly and within 2 s...

superb Tissot Bill. a brand that gets severely overlooked IMO. they have started doing re editions like Longines and this is one they have re issued. i saw one, but for the life of me i cant think why i didnt buy it. perhaps i should look again. it suits ...
