Congrats dear Christian for your Hosting work this week end! You did a great job and you had challenged our membership with a very interesting Theme which received a lot of answers and ...

... personal points of views about it. I enjoyed it so much and feel everybody enjoyed reading, participating and viewing so many wonderful shots and watches reflecting their personal approach to the Safe Queen concept..
Now I thank you so much for the honor of asking me to judge the Static Shot category.
Here my Veredict:
Many awesome shots deserving to be nominated this week end. I finally decided to award the following:
Third prize to Thegrailwatch and his shot of his wonderful WW2 Pilot`s watch. Like it happens in my case with my Big Egiziano, Thegrailwatch "wears" his large size pilot`s on his desk, like a Desk Clock confirming my theory that a watch can be enjoyed in different ways beyond strapping it on the wrist as intended. Lol! Love this shot!
Second Prize to Watchonthewrist and his stunning Corum RR appropiately displayed on the Spirit of Ecstacy mascot of his own RR car. Wonderful way of sharing his unique watch with us! Well done!
And the first Prize goes to...
Mike H for his shot of his sublime PP Automatic Perpetual Calendar displayed on a background showing a similar watch and in company of a classic Pelikan Toledo fountain pen (we also share the love for fountain pens!). I love the mood of this watch through lightining and reflections on its glass.
Big congrats to the winners and to all participants for their help to make another great edition of our weekly classic WS contest!!
Have a nice week ahead friends!
Cheers! Abel.
