Because they rhyme! I enjoy the lightness of titanium, especially on this "Sakura" GS. Such a joy on the wrist, and Seiko manages to polish Ti in a way that makes it glow. Tantalum, for that distinctive blue-ish grey hue that complements the dial of the C...

The GS dial is awesome! I have no experience with tantalum but your FP Journe looks fantastic with the striking grey bluish color of its case. Like you, I like platinum for the pleasant heft it adds to the experience of wearing watches with this rich meta...

I've been thinking of one, but worried about patina. I have to say, the combo of the silver case with the dial is a winner for me!
