Lange Manufacture Visit

Apr 17, 2020,12:23 PM

The pics were taken in Dresden about four years ago during my visit to the Lange manufacture.

The first pic was taken after lunch and I am very sure coffee was involved somewhere. The bonding with fellow collectors and friends was especially memorable.

The second pic was interesting for me because I met the balance cock engraver of my Lange 1815 Moonphase Honeygold, Ms. Simone Rauchfub. She also  happens to be the engraver of my Lange Datograph up/down. Every engraver has his or her own distinctive style which is like a signature and that can be easily recognised by the engraver.

Have a good weekend,

Ian
