Leitz Jig borer
The model I have is refered to on the user manual as "Precision Jig Borer" I see no model number.
I have added a photo of the Leitz, I have added Heidenhain digital readout scales to the X & Y slides.
A very nice feature is that it takes 8mm collets.
I find high quality endmills or slot drillls are very accurate, D reamers can be used of course but that means changing a tool when the process is under way and risking an unexpected alteration to the settings.
The Knew saw is the best frame I have ever used, beign made of titanium it is very light, the wood handle is the heaviest part and I would like to see a lighter grip handle.
