Is there a correct orientation for installing a watch strap with deployant?
It's ubiquitous to see the short side of the strap that has the tang buckle attached to the top side of the case on nearly every watch but in the case of a strap with deployant, the short side of the strap that has the deployant buckle is attached to the bottom side of the watch case on many watches I own. I should have been clearer by specifying my exact issue. I have a Breguet Tradition 7067 that came on a strap with a tang bucket. The watch was originally configured with with the tang bucket attached to the lugs on the top of the watch case. I had my AD ...
Usually it's all about how the buckle opens
the clasp should open facing you. Just think about how you would pull it open and its makes sense. No need to reach around your wrist to pull it open.
I think it depends on your wrist more than anything
