One of the ugliest aspects of servicing watches is cleaning out the residual skin, oil, arm hairs and body lotion. If you’ve seen Jocke’s annual Rolex overhaul, you’ve seen the worst - grease and engine oil. But here’s a typical “civilian” deposit from my pal’s Rolex and Seiko - after an hour in the ultrasound for the two bracelets.
