How many new (and old) buyers are really interested on it?

If we have a look at the average weekly, monthly and yearly threads, how many times did we read something related to precision and reliability?

When the kept of value and all those related fairy-tales are the leading factors for a newbie, it's a bit disappointing trying to focus on undisputable and objectives elements; but we still try to spread some light on that misty marketing strategies!

Geneva seal is still an hallmark of superior crafsmanship and luckily it has evolved and improved across the years.

Thank you for sharing.

which was the comment "...every piece produced with the Geneva Seal is equally outstanding." The seal represents a set of minimum (not maximum) requirements, and in my experience brands go to different lengths above and beyond the requirements of the seal...

The article is accurate from a technical perspective, but is it that much more time consuming? Not really...

First of all, it's a great article. Very well written, very informative, and very extensive. Fantastic article! Great find! But at the same time, I don't think it's fair to say a watch with the Geneva Seal is necessarily a well finished watch. I guess it ...

Excellent explanation [nt]

Why thank you very much! Geneva Seal is definitely a sign of quality. It's just not the end all be all that it's sometimes perceived to be.

Not knowing every individual's perception of the Geneva Seal, I thought it was important to frame it from the perspective of a beginning collector looking up and also as a more experienced collector looking down.
