...my posts from here on in are from my prison cell. They caught me just as I was passing across the VC Boutique threshold with the Pt. PT strapped firmly to my wrist. Gray is my mood. Now I have only handcuffs on my wrists. :-( That is the reason for the delay on Part 2.
Truly we saw some fabulous watches in NY. The 1972 is suave, elegant and iconic. Well, you know how I feel about the original issue of this icon from the early 70s. But I have to say it was the Pt. PT with the gray dial that blew me away as soon as I saw it. (If it was overshadowed at all, it could only have been by the Escher Fish watch.) There is something about these gray dials from VC, as you well know having the most special one of the gray dials. I must have one. This dial takes the Patrimony Traditionelle to a new level.
