Very nice report on VC history

I am beginning to fall for the art deco style. The Gustave Sandoz pocket watch you show flows through many years of VC's DNA. I think any collector of vintage VC could be happy in having one of these examples.
I especially like the Cart QP with the windows and lots of open dial space. I wonder if there was ever one made where the dial was decorated?

Indeed Bill, the Jump Hours complication has been around awhile. The early V&C's had a very Breguet look, like this 1827 model. Breguet was, in fact, a supplier to Vacheron & Constantin in these earlier times....
