Congrats and a Great bit of research
Hi Dean,
Congrats on your lovely watch and thanks for the great information!
I'm not sure if you are aware of the wrist watch retailed Breguet in the interwar period based on the the Type 1 dial similar to the later one by Gueblin you mention and show but much smaller at 31mm ...I remember bidding (unsuccessfully) on one that had a superb provenance of being owned by a former Turkish First world War Flying Ace.If you would like an image do let me know and i will go through my files and the relevant catalogue. There is one more like that which i've come across in the last 15 years.I had also tried to bid on the Vacheron Chronoscope wristwatch that you refer to when it came up in about 2000 and then again more recently.I've just not had any luck in getting a Heures Sautantes!!
Thanks again,
Roni

Robert Cart watches (pre-DIXI) are hard to find but here are a few examples that are more decorated. One is a Type II with delicious enamel Zodiac decorations on the bassine-style bezel. The other is a Cart Breguet with untypical enamel decoration to the ...
