Indeed Bill, the Jump Hours complication has been around awhile. The early V&C's had a very Breguet look, like this 1827 model. Breguet was, in fact, a supplier to Vacheron & Constantin in these earlier times....

Robert Cart watches (pre-DIXI) are hard to find but here are a few examples that are more decorated. One is a Type II with delicious enamel Zodiac decorations on the bassine-style bezel. The other is a Cart Breguet with untypical enamel decoration to the ...

Look closely at the bottom of the dial on this Vacheron & Constantin you will see the Swiss Patent (Brevet) number 130191. A search with the European Patent Office reveals this information: 1 Indicateur de temps. Inventor: ROBERT CART [CH] ; FILS CART...  

Hi Dean, Congrats on your lovely watch and thanks for the great information! I'm not sure if you are aware of the wrist watch retailed Breguet in the interwar period based on the the Type 1 dial similar to the later one by Gueblin you mention and show but...
