Overseas - Rubber vs. Leather vs. Steel
Sep 08, 2018,23:58 PM
Three pictures with the three included straps. I like them all. What I didn‘t expect: I tend to wear the rubber strap on business outfits and the leather strap on casual outfits. (I wear the steel bracelet aswell, of course). Which one would be your favourite?

New Cartier Santos and new Panerai use similar quick change systems. All Richemont brands.
Steel, rubber, leather.

That is how I wear mine. But, I am really disappointed in the quality of the bracelet, had too many strange problems (then again, it could be just my dumb luck).
Let’s see.

First, the adjustment system on the bracelet keeps popping open. Even the slightest wrist movement would click it into wider position. Then, they fixed that but only for a while. So, I decided to just make it big enough while leaving it in the wider posit...

But the odd thing is that you have to send the whole watch for service, not just the bracelet. And that, to me, defeats the whole strap change thing.
Rubber

Hi. I tend to wear rubber the most but that’s partially because I live in an extremely hot climate
Steel by far..........

The highlight of the Overseas line (like a Royal Oak) is the bracelet. Its very hard to top that look so much so that I probably wouldn't even use the rubber or leather straps if I owned that watch. It's a beauty btw! Tony
Such a great all around Watch

The 3 straps are all great. I love the contrast on the rubber & leather. But its always nice to have on steal.

I am the happy owner of the chronometer version with the blue dial. Which strap I’m wearing most? All 3, choice between leather and rubber is mainly determined by the weather (hot and humid = rubber) and by activity (indoor airco = leather or steel, outsi...
