Pretty Boy's 2019 post delves into his recent acquisition of a Vacheron Constantin Overseas, reflecting on why he overlooked this sports watch for so long. His detailed impressions and stunning photography highlight the watch's comfort, finishing, and versatility, making a strong case for its place in a collector's rotation.

The possibility to change the straps is also a great feature. This one will for sure land to my watch box. I also appreciate the Geneva Seal without forgetting the history of VC. Best, Kari
I am very tempted by this watch. Don't quite understand why VC is so underrated next to PP and AP? The fact that it is not seen as much for me makes it very desirable. I too like the three hander, but I am not sure on the blue rubber and leather strap - now if I could buy the blue dial with black interchangeable straps then I would be in!! Wear in good health. Regards, Patrick
Great to see that you already know everything about this watch. π
I surely will wear it on bracelet for most of the time but will give the other options a try as well.
I also love the WR of 150 meters. Overseas is a good competitor to Nautilus. A bit more conventional design, a bit thicker but the strap changing system puts it in my book besides to Nautilus. Best, Kari
That's a great watch. Particularly with the gorgeous blue lacquered dial. I recently sold a PP5712 1A and, at the weekend, I used part of the proceeds to buy an Overseas Chronograph. The inherent quality of the Overseas watches plus the strap options, water resistance, magnetism protection and bracelet micro adjustment mechanism make them ideal everyday watches. Best wishes Jon
