Tried these a few days back... The salmon dial PCC is absolutely gorgeous, and pairs very well with the grey/blue strap. Seems like this is the beginning of a capsule collection with Platinum and Salmon dial, possibly replacing Collection Excellence Plati...  

They need to go 36-37 for their dress watches. If IWC can figure this out then everyone should have done so by now.

Still keeping the 47112 and 47212.

for being better sized for my wrist. But the 47212 has more wrist time. The sand blasted platinum dial is just stunning.

A key character of the 47112.

but the dimensions are really excessive: 43 x 12,94 mm… The caliber 1142QP is only 27,5 x 7,37 mm, so I find it hard to understand why VC doesn’t make a smaller version. Best, Emmanuel

The 47112 comes in YG for Emmanuel, and it can be had for a bargain 🙂

but I think the engine inside (Frédéric Piguet 1185 with PC module from Dubois Dépraz) isn’t of the same quality. Looks awesome on this beige strap. Pic from Loupe This. ...

But there is something about the dial of the salmon PPC that just doesn't look right to me, I think it is the oversized date and moonphase as well the too small day date windows and their position and to finish it off those are my least favourite chrono p... 

The date sub-dial, and chrono pushers are fine for me. Do you mean the 270th Anni Openface PC for with Retrograde Date? I would really like to see it in-person.
