Movement architecture and Thickness
The Ultra thin is white gold only and uses the same JLC movement used in the Royal Oak Jumbo (2120). The Perpetual is based on the JLC movement too with the added perpetual module. The new in-house chrono and three-hand watches are 13.7 and 11mm thick. Quite thick!!

It could be a deal breaker if the strap is not reliable but we have to trust VC on this. Did you have a look at the short video on the VC website? They show how the strap attaches on the case but also how the buckle-change works, pretty clever. Cheers

I ordered already the blue dial Overseas and I'm considering also the sister-chronograph. I think this concept with bracelet + crocodile strap + rubber strap is a real winner. And the watch is not bad either... Best, Kari

Differences in the subdial arrangements and jewel counts suggest the two movements aren\'t that similar, even though it would make perfect sense that they share some technology. Will need more details to reach any sort of conclusion.

I think that ring which the bezel sits on hearkens back to the 222 which is apparently the theme of the new models. I actually like it, as I found the previous version's interplay of bezel and case to be a bit inelegant in it's geometries. But I'm not sol...

But from what I read yesterday, it seems that they did testings and that, as the magnetism comes especially from the side and the top (the back being protected by the wrist), the difference in magnetism is not very different between the former generation ...
