Sounds like you'd be left with a lange DS for chrono , and a bunch of other watches to fill the sports category. Do it! But another view would be, are you letting go of anything you'd regret or hard to replace if you have a change of heart? - Kevin

...probably my favorite dial/case from VC. Unfortunately my hearing is pretty terrible these days so the chiming would be lost on me. But what a beauty!

But I can’t decide if the very slightly off center dial creates a pleasing tension or is mildly frustrating. Does your lifestyle allow you to wear a delicate and fine piece like this often enough to forgo half of your collection?

And one I ask myself often when considering such pieces. Yes I do prefer it when watches have decent WR and feel sturdy so get worn often, but have acquired many delicate pieces over the years and found they can be worn quite regularly with no issues. The...

I suppose it’s all about what pieces you’re considering moving out of your collection. Ultimately it’s about how a watch makes you feel when it’s on your wrist. And only you can answer that. Best of luck!

Yes I think consolidating at this point would be more rewarding, at a certain point there are just too many watches to properly enjoy and connect with.

But this is getting quite a bit of thought from me, I am currently researching options just to make sure I am fully aware of what I am getting into. Obviously this is a once in a lifetime purchase, and will require the sacrifice of some fine pieces as wel...
