A Vintage Taper
When new, your watch likely came with either suede or calf strap and crocodile as an upgrade. I would like to see more of the strap and buckle; is it original? Straps with a "vintage taper" range from 16-19mm wide at the lugs down to 14mm at the buckle. Some people chase down the original straps and buckles but, as they are wear items, feel free to follow your own whims. Its an inexpensive way to change the appearance and mood of a timepiece. The only caution that comes to mind is that a strap is as visible as the watch itself and, as James Bond said in Diamonds are Forever; the collar and cuffs should match ;-)

Dark brown is very classic and timeless
But for chill & sportier days I would also consider the matte gray strap second from left in the upper row. Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy your new watch for years to come.
