Vacheron Constantin

A stark contrast to automotive concourses.

It's not quite the same as automotive concourses, and yet also very similar. The biggest difference is that in automotive concourses, there are different brands, although sometimes some years have a featured brand as a category - and thus all the vehicles in that category are of a singular brand.
The automotive concourses also are usually comparing cars within eras; such as one category is "pre-war cars" where these are generally your Packards, Rolls Royce Phantom II, Maybach DS8, etc. So the vehicles are generally more comparable. Whereas a minute repeater from 100 years ago is generally not going to be as superlative as one made in the 1990s and thus less comparable.
This is definitely a case study that all brands are watching and studying. The business case is also potentially lucrative and advantageous. And the amount of engagement and excitement generated is likely to be substantial in the future concours to come - as more and more interesting and historical pieces are unearthed!
