The beauty of those hands makes up for the minimal lume on them. I love UNs from this period! Late 90s? 40mm case? [nt]

One that doesn't get a lot of WPS time

The dial is super white, the crown action super smooth. And the movement? UN-118! The only tiny little down side, the lume. Not as good as the lume on the blue Surf: ...

No date and Arabics for me. (nt)

Is that rubber on the crown? Any issue with durability in your experience?

That is, in fact, rubber on the crown

Durability was an issue for me to. But I gave it a go, considering that UN would not use a material unfit for the purpose, and no problems at all! It gives great grip and adds to the smoothness of the crown. - Wover

This is going to disappoint...

not 90's but early 2010's. Plus silicium parts. And 45mm. On the bright side: It's a lot of modern real estate with good old, solid looks!

With the UN-118, more like 2013 or later.

The UN-118 was first introduced in an enamel dial special version at Baselworld in 2012. I have the same watch, on a bracelet, and it is the most accurate mechanical watch I own, consistently running within 15 seconds a MONTH. A super watch and a smashing...

Thanks for the correction. It is my most accurate watch too!

And in warm weather even better than the 15s/month you experience. On the secondary market: I bought mine after someone had 'taken care of it' for just one year for less than 50% retail - Wover

Love it. A nice interpretation of an original.

continuous production since 1846! Love how they kieep on using the 'design language' from the marine chronometers of yesteryear
