I owned that exact UN, I loved the dial but its sharp underside cut into my wrist bone. That was a bummer.
Yeah, I find the date doesn't bother me on these or most UN watches.
And it's sort of like all the damn writing on the dial of a Rolex, after a while you just don't see it anymore.
It looks fine on that...
but not so nice on some UNs where the date disc is buried very deep.
What a beautiful and classy looking Ulysse Nardin Chronometre.
The roman numerals, blued hands and small splashes of red just make this watch look so good. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc
