There is a colored gold case with a silver dial as I recall. I'll have to check it and circle back.

It went straight to Ulysse Nardin in Boca for a standard movement overhaul before I took possession of it. It was nice to receive it in perfect order, but it sure extended the anticipation to have it all paid for and never on my wrist until after!
I have discovered the density you refer to is a very special feeling on the wrist.
One I had not known previously. A great discovery I wish to make again. (38mm Dato perhaps?? That would be a killer!)

That is well stated. The designs are often polarizing from UN.

Usually, I carefully plan purchasing a new watch, but in this case it popped up unexpectedly and I was able to make it work. It seemed meant to be.
