Nice to meet u and the "fraternity" here lol. Some guys I surveyed prefer a IWC while others don't really care much.
I prefer a JLC and subtle things like ultra thins and reversos. However all the watches seem the same to me. Just different metals on different calibers on different movements which translates into different functions on different dials and caseback. :-P

Depends on what area of finance
It depends on what area of finance you're in. If you're one of the bean counters, then I can see the usefulness of a CPA. But if you're on the investment management side, then CFA and MBA (maybe even a CIPM) is prevalent, at least here in the U.S. Regards...
