The two main pins used in 1970s-1990s
I noted that many of these pins are all slightly different on the tip shape. They look like they were hand finished so lined up next to eachother the taper and flattened surface look slightly different one bolt to another, but generally this is how Tad finished the pins.

Just got off the phone with Fred, he says . . .
. . . it's a 5/16 - 18 pin that Tad occasionally used and that he, Fred, still uses. Nothing on Bobby's cue has been touched since he picked it up from Tad in late '69, including the tips. Good eye spotting the uncommon pin and joint!
