A good friend of mine at the time had a high end Alpine cassette player in his car with the blank skip feature, I was in total awe of the thing!

I backed the new BB-777 boombox on kickstarter, I should look for some new cassettes to go with it.
The XL-IIs was my go-to cassette

In the days when the stereo ruled the house decor... Horns brought us the high notes, vacuum tubes gave us amplification, we had to store records and tapes and so on... in the days before the iPhone brought us sound! ...
