I saw that you commented those nibs live in rouge et noir line. I have a rouge et noir bebe, it’s nib is as you described pliable but there is no tine separation, I really like writing with it, one of my favorite pens, I also have a Nakaya with a soft medium nib which is also pliable, you can get some line variation with it if you write purposefully slow and with some pressure, although the nib is totally different than the MB. For some line variation I bought a vintage Pelikan M400 brown tortoise, it is from ~ 1951/1952. It’s a joy to write with.
