My industry had ther annual convention last week, I did not go because deep down
inside I knew it would be a COVID super spreader event. Well anyway guess who got COVID?? The non-attendee, ME!!
One of the guys who went got it too so pretty sure thes where I picked it up. IT IS NO FUN!!! This is the first time I have had it.

I wish you the best Thomas to recover from that bad illness. When i was infected, i felt very tired. I was surprised when the Corona test said i was infected. After my recovery i felt like i was myself again, fit and happy. Strangely i have no fear anymor...

In the first couple of days, Paxlovid is quite effective, but I didn't avail myself of it. Rest, hydrate, and NSAIDs got me through. It is fairly miserable but fortunately less severe than it was initially.
I expect you will be fine, for the large majority it is no big deal.
I had it a few times and will take it any day over the flu. Actually, I am not even sure we even have flu anymore? I know one thing, I won't let it ever control me or how I live my life.
I just find it ironic that I didn't go to the
convention yet I got COVID. I feel better, just listless and short on energy. Cough is still fairly bad too.
Not much ryhme or reason to it, that's for sure.
