Luxury is in the eye of the beholder.
Everyones idea of what constitutes "luxury" is different. To some people Walmart may be considered luxury. To those of us here it is probably a bit more than that. I was flushing some time down the drain recently and was looking at fountain pens on Montblanc's website. They are expensive and I am hearing that their quality control has slipped some. I have 4 of their "writing instruments" and am satisfied with them all. I saw a fountain pen that would be considered a "pocket pen" for $800 and a key fob for $340.
Are these luxury items?? To some they are. Are they way overpriced? To most people they probably are. Would I buy either? No. a $340 key fob won't make my keys work any better and the $800 pen, being clipless would be sure to get lost or roll off the desk and shatter. Just one of my usual rants that most are probably tired of seeing.

I’d probably add, that the problems arise, when you take luxury for granted.
Then it will change you, and probably not in a good way.
First one is a necessity
The Second one is a backup The Third one is luxury The Tenth one and beyond is just spare parts and nothing will be satisfatory
Luckily it is free to rant here … if we had to pay 'per word’ the rants would be shorter
