I hear you: last night Mrs E and I had 6 oysters and shared a single smallish steak between the two of us for dinner, and that was plenty!
I haven't been to the local Lawry's, although I did check out the menu yesterday - it didn't list desserts, nor does the Singapore one (sigh.) I usually prefer a grilled steak to prime rib...there's something about the char that just does it for me. Is it really that good? Worth a shot? I suppose I could try it and report back, just for the sake of, ah, science...
But there are definitely some darned good steaks in this city! What do you mean by a HK-style steak restaurant?
