I as well though "AP ROO" when I seen this manhole cover. Very much inspired by the rubber or metal bezel.

Been to Rome (assuming this photo was taken in Rome) many times and never noticed the octagonal covers! Sharp eye!

The other day I saw a beautifully faded "don't walk" sign. I want to take a picture of that one. In cities there is some beautiful accidental beauty.
