That's why the AP RO was introduced to Italy first, it was a subliminal message!! Ha! 
Really great shot... I guess the next step is to see if anybody dare's to put their AP RO on the street long enough to shoot a pix! (without it getting run over or snatched away! wink

I will be back in Rome next month,... I'll keep my eye out for these!

I as well though "AP ROO" when I seen this manhole cover. Very much inspired by the rubber or metal bezel.

Been to Rome (assuming this photo was taken in Rome) many times and never noticed the octagonal covers!  

Sharp eye!

The other day I saw a beautifully faded "don't walk" sign.  I want to take a picture of that one.   In cities there is some beautiful accidental beauty.
