I choose perfumes based on my moods as well
I'll wear a "power" perfume to the office that is bolder and more confident. When I go out with my girlfriends, I choose something lively and playful. When I'm on a date I'll wear something softer and more feminine. Changing it up, or going without perfume for a few weeks also refreshes my sense of smell. I'm going to check out the colognes you mention, as I'm not familiar with them. I learn about all sorts of things on this site!
