I'm no collector ...
I just like to have 2-3 decent knives of good quality that I can count on. I hang out with brands like Benchmade, Spyderco, Buck, etc. I would love to get a William Henry.
Those that collect knives are often interested in some of the more expensive and sometimes even nicer models from custom makers like Tom Mayo and Chris Reeve.
