Hi Anthony, I guess we have to go to Captain Crab at the next GTG so that you all can do the field test of the ladies, LOL! P4: if you look at the 2nd picture, you can kinda see one of the waitresses picture ATM

I haven't dined at this joint. I have dined at The Indian and witnessed all the distractions. Certainly interesting that they put all the food in plastic bags. I haven't seen that before!

Hi Patrick, You're due for LA visit . There're a few of this type of restaurants in San Gabriel Valley area, but IMO Captain Crab is the best so far, as it's not as greasy as the other places. ATM

I am definitely overdue for a LA visit. I even still think about Katsuya every now and then! And Din Tai Fung... Will be coming soon. Hopefully.

...and I'm committed to Italian food with Dr. No this evening. Thanks.... grumble... grumble

This is the best I can do. Ottavio's in Camarillo. Reliable Italian. Had a small deluxe pizza, Dr. No had a nice sort of Shrimp pasta dish, Frank had the Chicken Parmesan, and we shared a tasty Calamari Wore my Robert Lighton Hudson. Dr. No wore his nice ...  

. . . it would've been a drive thru at In 'n Out ;-) . . .

Nice pics ATM, all that fresh spicy seafood looks delicious! And it looks like a lot of fun with this casual eating using your bare hands and no utensils. And did you say the eye candy is better than 'Indian'? LOL definitely got to make plans to have dinn...

. . . Lou's Chef-Burger, right across from Diablo Valley College? Breakfast - ham, eggs, potatoes, toast and coffee - was $3 in the late 70s, but what made Lou's special was their exceptional quality combined with generous portions. I wonder if it's still...

that is the similar type of menu.. great place for beer+seafood and a ball game..but bad for the cholestrol count.. enjoyed the experience but found the salt too much to take a few hours later... and be mindful of the wait at Broiling Crab...crazy wait ti...

Hi Ocwatching, There's a few in San Gabriel Valley. I've been to the one at Valley & Garfield. IMO, the food there is a bit oily, a tad too much butter. And the wait on the weekend sure is long Have a good weekend, ATM

Hi, ATM, Captain Crab used to have some of the best fish and chips I've had anywhere, and their fried oysters...yum! The fish in the fried fish fillet was soooo moist and tender... But oh my what a mess! The batter looks a little dark in your pic, I hope ... 

Hi Thomas, Thanks for the tips=I got to try out their fish & chips and fried oyster at the end of this month then . The batter color is darker, mainly from my picture... I got to upgrade my blackberry, LOL. Regards, ATM
