Does anyone in Contra Costa County remember . . .
. . . Lou's Chef-Burger, right across from Diablo Valley College? Breakfast - ham, eggs, potatoes, toast and coffee - was $3 in the late 70s, but what made Lou's special was their exceptional quality combined with generous portions. I wonder if it's still around.
Hmmm...

I haven't dined at this joint. I have dined at The Indian and witnessed all the distractions. Certainly interesting that they put all the food in plastic bags. I haven't seen that before!

Hi Patrick, You're due for LA visit . There're a few of this type of restaurants in San Gabriel Valley area, but IMO Captain Crab is the best so far, as it's not as greasy as the other places. ATM
