In the 4th picture, there are a number of houses I see across a wide area. I always wonder if there are people living there year round, and if so then how do they manage groceries, supplies, and important healthcare when needed? It just seems so isolated,... 

We’re living at 1200m high, so not that high compared to a lot of other villages in the Swiss alps. There are some 300 people living permanently on the “alm” spread over a large surface. There is a cable car connection (a lot used by the children to go to...
