Any Purists here like seafood?
In addition to the well-known and respected Oyster Perpetual Superlative Chronometer,
I can recommend a seafood-tested watch - the IWC GST Perpetual.
Some of you remember a few years ago when it went diving in a wine glass on Leap Year's Eve.
Well I finally got a chance to oyster-test the watch, and it proved successful.
Here are some photos at our family seafood extravaganza in the Seattle area:
oyster-testing the GST

three varieties of oysters (8 dozen for 10 of us ... a bit extravagant) + champagne
fresh clams with garlic and parsley

Coconut shrimp and a few hundred ahi nachos (ahi sashimi, wasabi aoli and pineapple chutney on taro root chips) at Anthony's
Oily fish are good for the heart, right?

Dungeness crab sounded good too, so we bought some.
Sadly we had to toss the mussels as a few failed the "sniff" test.
We also had some salmon and halibut and scallops. But I must have been eating or drinking then, as I failed to get any pictures.
Of course if you do not like fish, you wouldn't starve. We had salami and other cured meats from Salumi, locally-made and Italian cheeses, olives and almonds on fresh bread
(72% chocolate not shown for some reason; guess it didn't last long enough ...)
And finishing up with 5-pound pies that my sister makes from 10 varieties of heirloom apples and gigantic cherries
We might have consumed some white wines too ...
NOTE: all the seafoods portrayed above were killed and consumed in the making of this story.
Cheers
