Very nice indeed. 37mm is brave in this day and age. I wish it had a date, but thats just me. The black and red dials looks fab.

King Seiko is back, with NO DATE!

The 1960’s saw unprecedented advances for Seiko, both in terms of technical development and design creativity. Besides Grand Seiko, the King Seiko series demonstrated the company's ability to create beautifully designed and finished mechanical watches with...

Wonderful.

this timepiece, to me, represents the essence of Seiko purity in movement and design, I'd be heavily inclined to spec one out this way.... ...

Thickness still an issue

We need to see Seiko come up with a hand-winding movement to use in their presage/KS series to get the thickness down. But everything else about this is spot on. Cool bracelet, and a nice option for the no-date enthusiasts.

I'm on it, Mike. Definite for '22. Although one of my Omegas . . .

. . . will have to be sacrificed. Not for financial reasons; I've reached my limit, so from now on one has to go to allow another in. No exceptions. 😐

Seiko really sweats the details

What other brand would propose two different finishings for their silver dials? If only they had only "King Seiko" on the dial, and had made it a thinner manual-wound piece, it would have been on my list. But then again, it would be a SBGW 231. This is a ...

Well played Seiko ! …

It’s sure to find a strong following.

Live pics.

Live pics are available in some sites. I liked the brushed finish. The bracelet looks fine.

What GS should be doing, but who cares let KS lead the way.

Right size, maybe a bit thick as others have commented but that’s always been the way, and no date. My preference would be for a lighter dial and a strap, but having the bracelet could be good too.

That red is sharp

Bracelet integration and style is very interesting.

I'm down . . .

Nice release!

I can see their appeal!

Especially with both strap and bracelet options, and some colour in their dials. That said, I'm still fond of my vintage 44ks, especially since it can be fitted with an inexpensive (and appropriately jangly) third party bracelet. Perfect for the humid cli...
