Seiko

That’s actually a good rule, buying a Seiko in Japan. The only thing that prevented me from doing so was that I can get JDM pieces at a better price ironically outside of Japan..

But I need to change that thinking and look at it as a commemorative purchase smile

In fact I was even thinking about getting a Tokyo ltd ed speedy because I missed my chance to go visit Japan ilast year. Would be a good conversation piece once I get to see Casey and Ken if and when smile

As for Tunas, I’ve always admired them but prefer the usual turtles. I’m waiting for that Uemura 80th anniversary to come out to see if it’s for me as I’ve always liked the Willard case shape but don’t like the lug width on the original one and don’t like how the case shape got shaved off when they reduced it for the regular pieces. But yeah, quartz makes sense if only to have a grab and go piece when even an Explorer type would be a pain to set :p

This tuna was meant to be worn big like a Panerai, eh? Looks good on you. Reminds me of a co-worker back in the day. He had one and always admired how it sat on his wrist. His build was typical Asian, lean, active badminton player, which I am not!

Enjoy and stay safe!
