Having bought this separately from an AD (in Japan) and re-realizing the retail cost (USD200!!), I think it is worth mentioning and showing more details of this GS SS deployant buckle. Of course, the generic deployant buckles can be bought at 20 or 30, ma...  

i've had an SBGM009 GMT, but sold it and just kept 2 vintage pieces. a great brand kept unfairly from the western world by the forces within Seiko. Graham...

...I too have the silver dialled GMT, which I like very much apart from one aspect: the multiplicity of different fonts in the (somewhat unnecessary) writing on the dial. However, looking at your black dialled more sporty model it looks as though the word... 

While my GS also came on a bracelet: I'm more of a strap person so I switched it over: And as other noted, the deployant is just too good to pass up so... It was a bit difficult to accept a Seiko at first... but honestly, it's a great watch for a Steal pr...

Really like the strap & deployant combo. Wouldn't have it any other way! Now,even though I was very tempted a while ago into getting a GS,it's getting very difficult to resist after seeing this post. fernando
