I don't do bird watching, but I'm starting to enjoy my birdwatching with WatchProSite!

It's not THAT hard, you open the case, remove the rotor, remove 2 screws, remove insulator sheet, pull out capacitor, install new one. Reverse to install, etc. The screws are tiny though, and the cover is spring-loaded so they can fly away. ...  

As a result of writing this up, I got off my lazy duff and did a thorough search for the 8F56 movement in my other sports series Seiko. And got lucky and found one. So in a week or so when it arrives, I can fix and walk with that watch as well. Cazalea ...
