You need to see the watch in metal. The movement finishing is definitely right up there, at least equal to Dufour's. This has been mentioned numerous times by those who have inspected various examples of this watch. I have seen 3 examples of Eichi (both 1 and 2) and can confidently agree with that statement. But in term of 'prettiness', Dufour Simplicity have an edge. It exudes more warmth due to its Geneva stripes surface finishing. Eichi is much more quieter, but stunning, nevertheless. Eichi 2's bevels is super wide and ultra fine finished.
I would recommend you to try if you can get a piece from your local Seiko store to see in metal. Such pieces are hard to see again once Micro Art studio moves on to do other creation. The artisans in Micro Art Studio are extremely critical with their craft and the accuracy of their watch.
