Such a beautiful time piece that you wouldn't want to leave your wrist. ...  

To truly appreciate the quality of the hand finishing of this watch and it remains one of the hidden gems in the watch world. Totally understated and almost a bargain as I understand its finishing is at least as good as a Voutilainen and very close to a D... 

You know what? Seiko, like other big japanese firms, lacks of unique and distinctive design. it's not just a matter of mechanics, but mostly of aesthetics. If i could, i'd buy a Roger smith, Voutilainen, Hajime Asaoka instead of this seiko.

For some of us, the 'nothingness', the 'blandness' in this piece is exactly what some collectors are looking for when seeking for the Simplicity. That makes watch collecting interesting. What you choose to wear on your wrist may or can reflects what you w... 

I really appreciate collectors like you, who buys watches following heart and reason. No doubt the Seiko is close to Dufour, but it's not my cup of tea. That's the reason that makes our passion so intense and vary

This NSX is very interesting . When I got this piece, I was thinking of Toyota Century.

Thanks for yours words and blessing. I would say Eichi 2 is so special and yet so dedicate to the person who owns it. I do not have the chance to see or owning any of Voutilainen and Dufour' watches I believe Eichi 2 will continue to stay at her best and...

Unfortunately I no longer have the Simplicities or the Observatorie to take a group image. This Eichi is closer to Simplicity than Observatoire, imho.

I love the honest simplicity and beauty of the dial but cannot have the same opinion of the movement finishing. Maybe it's my poor eyesight, maybe photographic distortions, but the edges around the mainspring (at about 9 o'clock and 10.30) look distinctly... 

You need to see the watch in metal. The movement finishing is definitely right up there, at least equal to Dufour's. This has been mentioned numerous times by those who have inspected various examples of this watch. I have seen 3 examples of Eichi (both 1...
