The screws are so you can replace part of the case if it gets damaged. The Ceramic used is extremely tough but you cant polish out or repair.

Spring Drive - 20 years & NISSAN GT-R - 50 years will be celebrated in a limited edition Grand Seiko: Both companies are singing the blues (Bayside Blue & GS Blue): A new creation in the Grand Seiko sport collection pays homage to an emblematic Japane...

I have to say they nailed it from my point of view πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

The design language seems to fit and just like the GT-R took a very different approach to performance so does Spring Drive. Was hoping for such a cooperation πŸ˜‰ Btw. are the hands and stitching on the strap in Bayside Blue? πŸ˜πŸ”΅

that ceramic/titanium combination with the screws appears a bit like a crude makeshift solution; certainly not state of the art, compared with the ceramic cases of the competitors. Marcus

I would have accepted that twenty years ago ...

... in the starting days of ceramic cases (then by IWC). But today, ceramic has been proven as case material and is routine in high-end watchmaking. Frankenstein-like screwheads to slap on ceramic plates to a metal casework should be a thing of the past. ...

Love it and nearly perfect the only negative is the price, I can buy a Nissan GTR for that πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ [nt]

In all fairness they made a beautiful and stunning piece, I almost placed an order (had she been a VW special edition I would have been in trouble) but.... For some reason I see this price tag as more Credor appropriate, is Seiko trying to upmarket itself...

Very cool version

which is why I am always amazed at how GS can consistently get chronographs so wrong. This one is no exception β€” truly awful.

SBGB001 is my preferred style

Normal / small pushers, no GMT hand cluttering the dial, thinner case, clean design. I just wish it was titanium. Cazalea ...

Love this...

Anybody can share where to get this at the best price? The showroom in Singapore has closed i think... The last GS I got was from Japan.

Very limited, so try Wako or a large dealer in Japan
