Can’t even imagine dropping the watch due to a faulty buckle. So far it’s pretty comfy but I️ also put the strap in warm water to let it mold a little!

I️ noticed the arm does not sit flush. I️ night put in boiling water to let it take shape.

No joke oh got me worried and thinking so I️ removed the uncle seiko clasp and buckle and put the SLA original from the silicone strap on. Fits like a glove. The measurement was perfect.
I too recently bought the same Uncle Seiko "tropic" strap for my SLA017, but after approx. 24 hrs. the watch is back on its OEM silicone.
Aside from being underwhelmed by the plasticky feeling of the new strap, I also noticed the buckle arm issue that Bill was nice enough to warn about herein. On top of that I also noticed that the springbar connecting the buckle to the strap seems to just ...
